Another break in the sunny south east, these shots were taken in May, when it looked like we might actually have a summer! It was lovely weather, perfect for an aqua coloured silk suit: wrap top and pencil skirt, with a cream silk coat with matching aqua lining, and of course a co-ordinating turban style hat. And I nearly forgot the handbag too, SO important. These are inspired by the Doris Day movie ‘Lover Come Back’, made in 1961 with Rock Hudson, her costumes are fabulous, so chic.
That’s Loftus Hall on Hook Head in the background, absolutely worth a visit.
Then on to Slade Castle….
This is a green herringbone wool costume, with silk lining, matching silk top and hat.
I thought it went well with the moss covered castle…..
