Beautiful Venice. We had a few days here in September: gorgeous sunny, warm days. So taking advantage of the fabulous weather and fantastic backdrops we wandered around taking in the sights and soaking up the atmosphere!
Of course I had to make a proper tourist outfit for all that sightseeing: orange gingham peddle pushers with a white broderie anglaise short blouse and finished off with a blue chiffon headscarf.
The Grand Canal, isn’t it amazing? We had just stopped by the Peggy Guggenheim Museum, it is based in her villa on the Grand Canal….wow, fabulous building, location and amazing art collection too. The gift shop is almost as good as the museum.
After a lot of sightseeing we stopped for a rest on the steps of the Basilica di Santa Maria della Salute…… they have a collection of several pieces by Titian here. There is fabulous art everywhere you go in Venice.
The afternoon was for eating gelato (absolutely divine) and wandering around the back alleys and narrow streets…before hoping on the night train to Vienna! Join me next time for my Viennese adventure!

Barbie could be in a still from Don’t Look Now, – gorgeous!
The whole city is a movie set!!
Oh, I love this outfit – it’s perfect for a busy day of sightseeing! I can’t wait to see what Vienna has in store 😀
I had a lot of fun with the outfits for this trip!
I’d say so! I imagine Barbie’s size was nearly the same size as your own!
