More holiday snaps from the Wild Atlantic Way! This 1950s inspired frock is made from a navy and white stripe cotton, with a fitted bodice, silver buttons and belt detail with a full gathered skirt. I also included a crinoline under the skirt to give it an extra kick! Perfect for some more sightseeing around the West of Ireland on a sunny day.
Here’s the view at Slieve League Cliffs in Co Donegal…next stop America. They are nearly three times higher than the Cliffs of Moher! Don’t miss them if you are in Donegal. These sea cliffs are the highest on the island of Ireland, however Achill Island can lay claim to the highest sea cliffs in Europe, who knew?
We also visited the fantastic Donegal castle in Donegal town. Construction started in the 15th Century, and it’s been recently restored by the OPW.
Again, we missed Prince Charles by a day.
This was a shop in Clare…I just had to photograph it, isn’t it amazing? What a beautiful colour!
