I am really inspired by Costume Designer Edith Head. She was one of the leading Costume Designers during the Golden Age of Hollywood and her work is impossibly glamorous. Nominated for 35 Academy Awards she won 8, more than any other woman.
I had Grace Kelly in mind when I was designing this dress. It’s lilac taffeta with a purple taffeta border, lilac bow lined with purple. And a frilly underskirt, very important.
